Support for Rural and Remote Aged Care Providers

Aged Care providers face unique challenges in maintaining and delivering quality care and services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and to older people living in rural and remote locations, or culturally diverse communities.

CDCS has a proven history supporting providers and understands the service environment, because this is where we come from.

Who Is CDCS?

Culturally Directed Care Solutions (CDCS) was founded by Donna Cross and Carrie Akhurst.

Donna is the policy and process person, and Carrie is the expert trainer and content creator. They share a passion for helping providers deliver quality care and believe that older Australians deserve person-centred and culturally safe services.

The dedicated and skilled CDCS team have lived experience in the Care sector; we have helped hundreds of providers address problems and improve outcomes. We partner with providers to constructively resolve challenges with a solution-focused approach tailored to each organisation's needs.

Contact us if you want practical help from people who know the care sector inside out and can help your organisation achieve sustainable outcomes.
