Culturally Directed Care Solutions

Helping Aged Care Providers keep up with Compliance, Saving you Time and Money, Supporting a Culture of Quality Care

Enabling a Culture of Quality Care

We believe that quality care is a fundamental right, no matter who the person is, their cultural background, their circumstances, or where they live.

Quality care is culturally safe and person-centred. It recognises the individual inside, their unique needs, their goals and their dreams.

Quality care is underpinned by good governance, it is planned, organised and responsive.

Who We Are

CDCS is based in Australia and our team comes from a variety of backgrounds, both operational and management. This allows us to work with, and understand the needs of, the diverse range of personnel employed within the aged care sector, from direct care staff through to coordinators, managers and CEO’s.

How We Help

At CDCS we help aged care service providers deliver quality care that is compliant with regulations, enhances staff productivity and is tailored to client needs.

When you engage us, you get the benefit of our years of knowledge supporting aged care organisations. We bring that expertise to the table and work with you and your team, helping you to keep up with compliance, saving you time and money; and supporting a culture of quality care.

Testimonials

“If not for CDCS, our service may not have even survived, let alone become a provider of choice. They brought our service from disfunction to a respected, quality service provider with effective processes and procedures. CDCS are specialists in their field and have the knowledge base and experience in both urban and remote areas.”

Michelle McCall
Manager of Aged Care, Larrakia Nation Aboriginal Corporation

“CDCS have exceeded the terms of their work scope and expectations we had of the assistance to be provided, often going the ‘extra mile’. The resources and training they have developed and provided have been excellent and their understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural challenges has helped underpin this.”

“Their support at a time of a transition of management was critical in providing appropriate orientation, mentoring and support. The systems and standards which they have helped Animparrinpi Yututju set up will also help future staff that work here.”

Glenis Wilkins & Marilyn Nungala

“It was great to have support on the ground from people who understand the remote aged care context.”

“CDCS provided knowledge that empowered both myself and staff; enabling us to build a strong and supportive team”

Liz Waltrich
Aged & Disability Coordinator, Central Desert Regional Council

“We are a successful community-controlled health service, used to providing good quality, culturally safe services in remote communities. When we were asked by one of our communities to help them with their aged care service, we couldn’t resist! We really didn’t understand the administrative and logistical implications of what we were taking on. We just knew we were good at looking after people in the right way, and how important it was to help people remain on country.”

“Donna and Carrie helped us to get our heads around this new world of aged care standards, systems and reporting. They not only helped us to learn, but taught by assisting us. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. They share it with generosity and grace. They continue to keep in contact and are accessible to be a sounding block and share resources beyond the confines of a contract of work. I often recommend them to others and continue to do so.”

Sarah Brown

Tracey Munckton

“The mentoring by CDCS consultants was provided in a professional, friendly manner. The consultants listened to our views and tailored the necessary work to suit our individual workplace culture.”

“There have been so many improvements that it’s hard to know where to start. Having our policy suite updated to become contemporary and evidence-based is an achievement we could not have managed alone. Their encouragement and help with succession planning has made the transition for incoming senior staff much easier.”

Chris Moran

“The CDCS team have a vast understanding of remote aged and disability services and always treat their clients with respect and in a culturally appropriate manner. CDCS are willing to work alongside the organisation to meet the desired outcome. The resources CDCS designed for our organisation have been invaluable.”

“CDRC have now been able to implement reform changes and are providing a uniform service across all communities where we provide aged and disability care. We have policies and procedures in place and guides, which assist remote staff to understand their roles and responsibilities. Client file set-up is now consistent across all communities. This will also allow CDRC to be in a better position to implement future reforms such as Increasing Choices in Home Care.”
